Sunny day and Zaino

Well, I couldn't pass it up. A sunny day in October. So I washed the G and applied a coat of Z5 and 4 coats of Z2. Just thought I'd share a few new pics.

Nice lookin G. I washed mine for the first time in two weeks. I've had my car for 6 months and this is the longest it's gone without a bath.

Nice, clean look. I'm liking that trunk lip spoiler. Pictures never do the DGs any justice, though. Black Gs just shine like hell. But, you can see it shine in the 3rd pic. The side angle shot on DGs is always the best where you can see the reflection of the surroundings.

Looks like you have 19 inch Moda R6's? What size rims and tires? By the way, is this an AWD model? Nice debadging job.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. The wheels are 18x8s with 245/40/ 18" Yokohama AVS ES100s. I like a nice simple 5 spoke design. Man I miss signatures. It's a 2005 X. The rear end looks so much cleaner without all those badges! Now, if Tokico would make a set of D Specs for the X, I'll drop it.

I originally bought this wheel/tire combo for my 03 Maxima. I had that car for 2 1/2 years and got sick of it. When I got the G, I was happy to see that the wheels fit right onto it. On the Maxima, the tires weren't all that noisy. However, on the G, they are kinda loud on the highway. I think most performance tires get louder as they wear. The tires have about 20,000 miles on them and they still have quite a bit of tread left. Not even close to the wear bars. Traction, I would say, is excellent. Car feels confident in the wet, and almost unshakable in the dry. I would get these tires again, no doubt.

The car is actually Diamond Graphite and the car is definitely shiny as %^$#. Too bad the time of day killed the shine. Here are a couple pics of the deck lip spoiler from UT.

The lip is from www.unlimitedtuning.com . It is their G2 spoiler. I got it when they first introduced it for 160 bux. It cost 75 bux to have it painted. It mounts with 3M tape, the same stuff that holds body side moldings on. The tape really holds. Just make sure you clean the surface before putting the spoiler on. It also helps to have a freind to position it just right.
