I agree with inTgr8r and GeeMan. 03 Tail lights with 05 reverse lights.

 

I got the same, 03 Rears and 05 Reverse.

 

03 rears and 05 reverse do not match at all - the 03 reverse have these tiny lines in them, that make it flow with the rears - they will look out of place mis-matched. IMHO.

and, oh, yeah, when walking away i *always* turn, look back, and think "damn that's sexy!" sometimes i say it outloud.

 

I think the 03 taillights fit better with the shape of the rear. Though I must admit the 05 backlights are a nice touch.

 

i voted yes without knowing that it was for the tail lights.

anywho, they BOTH look good!!

it's all in your personal taste, if you like it and have the extra amount of money laying around, go for it!

 

The tailights were the FIRST thing that jumped out at me the very first time I saw a G35 back in '02. They set the sedan apart from other cars, that's why I love them so much. I think the '05 tail lights look like every other car out there.

I agree with skeleton_cru, I love the tail lights on my car. I think the front end of the 05's look better, but the rear goes to the older g35's.

As soon as I saw the 05 tails, I had to have them....so I did just that, got them and put them on.

They are more in line with the Skyline GT-R, which have the rounded lights.
I also created a DIY for the install if you wind up getting them. Its very easy to do. Its in the DIY forum but the link doesnt work any longer so if you need it, I can email it to you.

btw, i agree with what you say about GT-R - the 05 lights look more like it, and that's why i want them. i'm leaning towards a "Yes".

 

to clarify, the 03 lights look like FX-_5 lights... what do you all have to say to that, eh? and the 05 lights are unique!

 

The G35 was out way before the FX, so the FX lights look like the G35's. The '05 tail lights look like the coupe's. I guess you secretly want to be a coupe?
