Here are the day time pics with a clean car. Also pics of the tail debadged. I think it looks good without the chrome emblem on the front. It actually would look out of place with it chrome there.

dupont paint. Black sandable primer, gloss black van/truck universal paint, truck/van clear coat.

G35 Tex,

our "obsibian black" actually has a small amount of red mixed into the black.

I had some paint mixed up (by the paint code) to paint my corner lights to match the car. I was skeptical when the paint shop told me about the red, but there it was according to the paint mixing instructions. I can't rememebr if it was a PPG or duPont paint though.

Anyway, it matches perfectly.

The blacked out grill looks like a very good option for the black cars. Well done!

Looks nice, I would have left the infiniti emblem silver and everything else black, but it's still cool.

Looks nice.. I think I'm going to ask my painters if they have any leftover paint to do mine. GOt my sides and rear bumper in the shop now getting painted. Love the look.

I like the look Russ. But for some reason I just can't get used to the blacked out logo, though I'm sure it looks differently in person.

Your pictures have me curious. I wonder what a blacked-out grill would look like on my IP sedan with black rims, and a tint. I have a feeling that it would looky pretty sh!tty, but I just can't picture it in my head. Anyone interested in doing some photochops of my car with a blacked-out grill?

I think it looks better stock--looks kinda like an Altima front.
