Nice, I like the look of having the chrome emblem rather than painting it black as well. What color and type of paint did you use? Any clearcoat?

I did not do it myself, although I did consider it. I had the body shop that I always use do it. I'm not sure what he did to complete the job. Looks like he did probably sand, primer, paint, and possibly clear coat it though.

He charged me $0.00, because he said he didn't think it would look that good and that it would chip off eventually. He didn't want to charge me and have me come back and bitch after it started to look shi&ty.

I think he realized it looked better than he thought afterwards, but still did it for free. I'll let you all know if it starts getting shi&ty after it is on a while.

It looks like it is OEM up close, not tell tale signs of being prepped and painted at all. Noone has thought it wasn't a factory item yet. And I did keep my original grille. Maybe I'll change it up every now and then to keep them guessing.......

Thanks for the compliments. I am think of doing the door handles and window trim next.

Thumbs up

I like the look Louisarke. Looks good in DG and glad you didnt paint the emblem. Looks much better that way, cleaner look.

constjs blk/blk looks awesome. Love the look of this painted grille on black evern more. Just flows with the paint better IMO.

Good work guys!

I think the painted grills would only look good on black and DG G's.

I don't like the painted symbol.
