I love the color of your car! I get 18.5 mpg but I've given up on expecting good gas mileage so I guess it doesn't bother me that much. I was going to get a Mazda3 before the G35 (long, amusing story as to why that didn't happen) and I'm sure I would have enjoyed the gas mileage but the G35 has the obvious perks that make the poor gas mileage worthwhile.. just think.. you could be driving an H2 and rockin' 8 mpg.

My X gets better mileage than any other 4X4 I have ever owned (I have had several), and it goes a lot faster, too! How can you look at that beautiful car and worry about fuel economy?

Just fill-up and drive off with out paying--but I recommend placing the nozzle back in the pump.

What mileage have you been getting? What is your typical daily drive like (city % / hwy %)? How many miles on your car?

Mike , How bad is it , like Akrus said "What mileage have you been getting? What is your typical daily drive like (city % / hwy %)? How many miles on your car?"
I'm getting what I expected with my X, you will lose a couple mpg because it is an AWD, but as far as I'm concerned it's worth the trade-off.

I have 5000 miles on the car and the gas mileage is around 16 . typical driving is city 90 % / hwy 10 %, work is only 10 minutes away, but getting on the highway doing 90 doesn't help, LOL Hey I love the car and don't have any complaints at all, this vehicle is the best ride and comfort and the best looking car out there, It doesn't matter to me that it sucks gas, It just seems like i am at the gas station alot. LOL, thanks for the comments

I think the perceived fuel economy of the G is easily tainted... for instance, I easily get the EPA ratings when driving around and I behave... usually close to 30 on the highway for longer trips...

But it's just SO DAMN FUN to use that power.... if I were in an Accord, my mpg would stay close to the EPA rating all the time... but since it's a G... well... it's just too much fun NOT to use the power.

Heh.

How about that power, getting on a highway was like taking off in a race car, the acceleration is awesome, what about the triptonic system really don't use that to much, it doesn't seem to shift real well seems to lag alittle between shifts.
