COMPLETE COMPUTER CRASH

This is the second time this has happened to me. One happened a month after i bought the car and this just 30min ago. My comp is completly going nuts. The compute no longer clocks speed, Rpm's go up and down wildly, and there is no other gauge working. The slip light and vdc light remain on perminantly and it the transmission shifts harshly through gears. I am hoping a twelve hour battery disconnect will work ok- the first time this occured i took it to the dealership and they restarted to ECU and it worked great again. now this. it happens only in rainy weather though. Im starting to see a pattern. Can someone give me an incite to what this is and how i can correct it... thanks alot guys

Did you ever have the TSB done where they replaced the environmental board I think? Look at the list under TSBs

You may possibly be able to invoke Lemon Law in this situation...Faulty computer systems are difficult to counteract and keep from becoming future failures...I had to take a Maxima SE deal back and replace the vehicle for being unrepairable...Nissan Corp. is pretty good at dealing with these situations...They buy back the vehicle and replace it with another...Pretty painless...

Re: COMPLETE COMPUTER CRASH

cool guys thank you for all the help i will be sure to SCREAM at my car dealership that is full of a-s-sholes. My dealership is not friendly, i walk in there and i will calmly explain the problem and the people will automatically assume taht i broke my car because i am young. As juvenile as this sounds im going to take my mom cuz shes knock his *** out. (im only 18)
