Put down my deposit

Put down my deposit
I put down my deposit tonight on a 2003.5 Twilight Blue, Willow interior with Premium/Winter/Rear Spoiler. Going Saturday to fill out the paperwork, etc. Taking advantage of the 1.9% financing. Won't pick it up though until the rear spoiler comes in, gets painted and is installed. I've waited this long, what's another week or so.

Re: Put down my deposit
I was ready to buy the Garnet myself until I saw the Twilight Blue for the first time last week. I have never been a "blue" fan but this color is different - more on the black side. To me it's more classy where as the garnet is more on the sporty side. Either one is a winner in my book.

Re: Put down my deposit
Went to 2 dealers - Nashua and Herb Chambers. The one at Nashua also had the wood trim. Invoice (Edmunds/KBB invoice, not the dealer quoted invoice, which includes a $350 dealer ad fee) at Nashua was $31,558. Their best price was $33,035. Wouldn't come any lower. He tried to push service, knowing his price was high. Invoice without the wood trim at Herb Chambers was $31,342 (they claimed their invoice was $31,692 - when you add in their dealer adv costs, which supposedly is on their invoice price). I got the vehicle for $31,650. That's $308 over invoice calculated my way, $42 under invoice their way. Throw in the 1.9% financing, which saves me $972 over 3 years when compared to 5% and I'm very happy. That's my second dealing with Nashua and they are very high priced and won't negotiate. They must deal on profit margin and not on volume. In my case, they lose.
