What Sash said about them is correct. The lips do not have any clear coat so this allows you to polish them anywhere from bright aluminum to like chrome. The only bummer I see is that the highest offset is 35mm which makes a staggered rear set up on the ragged edge.

Are your fenders rolled? Any rubbing?

Before I lowered it,the right rear rubbed so I rolled both fenders. after lowering, I don't kknow if it would rub as the negative camber brings the top of the wheel in a bit.

I thought you said you cut? you just rolled the lip? or did you actually flare the fender out? looking at my offset I think I would have to flare out the fender to drop

I rolled them which basically means that I bent the top part of the inner fender to a 45 degree bend instead of a 90.

right, so you still rub a bit on bumps with your drop right?

can you take pics close of how high the rear sits on your drop?

When I go behind my G and look at the fender over the wheel it looks like even rolled the fender edge is still going to come down on the edge of the rounded sidewall.

Bringing back a post from the dead, but perhaps this can help somebody else...Thanks to liukai for input on these wheels. I'm quite happy with them, although I sometimes wonder if chrome would have been a better option with a black car.

I got the Ruff Racing 278 in Hyper Black in 19x8.5 & 35mm offset, with Bridgestone Potenza REO50A in 245/35/19. I have not yet dropped the car, but plan to go with the 1" drop of Eibach Pro Kit, perhaps in the spring (will need to put winter tires on in about 2 months).

I got such a great deal on the tires, so ordered separate and got the rims from Need4SpeedMotors.com. Pretty good group over there, they are also what the manufacturer suggested to buy from. The tires also have a nice rim protector ridge on them, so hopefully that will help against curb rashes.

UPDATE - I weighed the rims/tires when switching for winter, so including that here as well - My Ruff setup is 55 lbs with tire (-27 lb tire = 28 lb rim) and 48 lbs for my winter setup with with winter tire (-25 lb tire = 23 lb rim). So the Ruff 278 19x8.5 rim itself is about 5 lbs heavier than stock sport 5 spoke 17x7 rims. Note: I got the tire weight specs from Tire Rack as mine are mounted and can't actually weigh by themselves.

they both have a +20 offset
would this work? and if so whats the right size tire
