To a degree, the M3 trunk has a little more of a curve that the G35. The length is the same but the bend is off, only by maybe a .8 of an inch. I have a carbon fiber lip spoiler on mine and unless you get real close you can't tell that it doesn't fit perfectly. The best thing about the lip spoiler is that it defines the trunk, it adds a little more apeal to the rear end. If you want a pic of what it looks like email me at chad@rlcarlson.com

If its the same length I believe it can be bent a bit to make it fit. The M3 lip spoiler fits the A4 also but the A4 has a bit more curve to the trunk lid so it has to bend a lil bit to fit properly.

Has anyone tried the M5 lip spoiler? I do believe that the M5 lip spoiler fits better on the e36 BMW 3 series sedan models, while the M3 lip spoiler fits better on the e36 BMW 3 series coupe models. I really like the subtlety that these lip spoilers add.
