My Future First Car ^_^

Hi again ya'll.

Anyways, my dad is going to Nepal next October, he is gonna go trekking and get enlightend and crap. He is so full of sh** We all make fun of him for it lol. He really wants me to go. It would be for a month, so i said no. Cant skip that much school. He told me that if i go, he will give me the keys to his G35X Sedan when i turn 16. I am 15 now.

And that got me thinking, and talking with him. Once his lease is up he can buy out his car for a cheap price. So we have been talking, and i think we have come to a conclusion that instead of buying an '02 Maxima with 60k miles on it, buy my dads G which will have 45k miles and will be the same price, maybe a little more. PLUS we will know where it has been and know that its been taken care of. Another PLUS is that it will last me for a LONG time. Plus it is nice and will make a good impression (girls, job, such good fast little sedan) Race a few Civics from my school/college and whoop 'em.

I think it'd make a good first car. What do you all think? Im so friggen excited. I already pretty much take care of it. I vaccume it every weekend. In the summer i wash it a good 2 times a week. I just love that car so much.

Me and my future G drifting after a fresh snow. ^_^

Anyways. There are no guarantees. But if i do get it, im enlisting my sisters BF to help me add a nice exhaust to it.

Hope i get it

Enjoy the G!

So.. yea. neways. Now i gotta figure out how to make some money.

To tell you the truth, its not that bad an Idea.

You have the sure safety of the AWD and the added security of the G35's multiple airbags.

It is a safe car. Just dont get your mind caught up with "whooping" civics. If you can restrain yourself from doing such, you could really stand out in the crowd of young drivers. Anyways, those civics dont even deserve the honor of going up againts the G 8-) (I am j/k civic owners!)

and about Nepal, take the hike! Once you complete it, you will never regret it (well, if everything turns out OK) and when you do return...think about how well it will look on your college resume!

just beware of the poor gas mileage!

there is another college student here who can not keep up with the gas expenditures of his RWD vehicle.

^Thats what my dad said. Plus it will be the experience of a life them... And what not. I just dont think i could hike for a month. i suck at high altitudes lol i always have trouble breathing and crap. plus 4-9 hours a day! of hikking. its crazy. O_O I will have to think about it.

it must be somthing about my school, but kids keep seeming to ge their dads cars. lol

G35s=very safe. And with us geting 4-6 inches a week in snow, that AWD will ROCK.

Im still debating the trip. I dont want to make up all that homework. Thats like half a quarter in the year.

We will see. I can still get the G without going, im jsut gonna have to do ALOT lol

after the trip, you would think that 4-6 hours of hiking is NOTHING. This is not an ordinary vacation. I took a few "out there and back" type of trips. I do not regret them, as a matter of fact, the first one enticed me to do more. I was also, skepticle at first.

forget the homework! just tell your teachers before hand so that they can work out a solution for you.

Gonna have to figure it out when the time comes around.

Im not really into hikking.

If onlywecould do a 1 month trip to a race car driving school. Sounds much more enticing than Nepal.

That is until you start racing Civics and drifting in the snow.

get this...ask those teachers who give you home work what THEY would do. I bet you they would rather get a B or C than stay home

Yea, a month of hiking and crap. lol i'd gotta ask, because its ahrd to make plans and then have them say, oh you failed all your classes. Or get back and be like, ok heres all what you missed and they hand me a file cabinet full of papers. Its not really just homework, its learnin the stuff, and taking those damn BST tests. Which i think there is one during october... not sure

If one thinks about everything moms go through to bring us up, you realize that this is not that funny. Wait till you have your own kids. Plus, anything can happen when you're driving - things that you can't control, like other drivers and crappy road/weather conditions. Plus, G received bad ratings in Forbes collision tests.

Dude, go to Nepal!!! When I was like you and I didn't want to join my dad in his adventures, he would offer me options - stay at home and take care of my baby brother or send my bro to grandmas and go with him. Nursing my brother has never been my cup of tea...

that seems like a pretty sweet deal. Although, I don't know if I could stand the hiking either. Anyway, do what you must to get the G!!!

I'd do it definitely (get the G, not go to Nepal). Good luck with it!
