I have owned a 2004 and a 2005 G35 coupe, both of them had a center armrest. You do have the option of taking it off. So maybe the one you drove they took it off.

I am driving a brand new G35X as a loaner right now, and I drive 350Z's everyday at work (work at a Nissan dealer) and I can tell I like the G35 coupe way better than the sedan or 350Z. The sedan is nice if you need 4 doors, but I personally think the Z is not as nice as the G coupe at all. There is not one person that works in my dealership that likes the 350 over the G coupe. I really do not like the ride of the Z, and they just feel cheap to me. They are not put together anywhere near as good as the Infiniti is.
I guess maybe if your looking for just a sports car the Z is fine, but I wanted a little more style and refinement. And some of you guys thing the G's rattle a lot, your in for real suprise getting a Z.
Auto's have center armrests not the 6mts.

Fit and finish is objective in my opinion, compared to the competition they're both sub-par.

Being I own both the G35 and 350z roadster I can tell you there is very little difference between build quality. Only reason the G35 feels little more upscale is because of the wood/titanium trim, softer suspension setup and softer seats everything else is basicaly the same.

As far as rattles goes, both cars have them. My 350z rattles in the dash and my G35 rattles in the doors.

The suspension on the G35 is a lot smoother then the 350z but you have to remember that they are selling these cars to two different markets.

The 350z roadster has a lot of blind spots when the top is up and is very intimidating when you first drive it, BUT once you get used to the car the blind spots seem to fade away. With the top down there is no blind spots of course

For me the S2000 is to small, when I sat in it, I felt like I was in a sardine can. The 350ZR has a lot more room and I feel more protected in it then the S2000

^^^ Wow!

I was not feeling those roadsters, but that spoiler sets it off. Wish I could fit in the darn thing.

Hey, would leather Z seats swap into my sedan? I too think the seats are a bit uncomfortable. I can live w/ it, but if the swap could work...hmmm

Im 6'-4" and weigh around 230 lbs and it fits me like a glove.

Ya i hate the seats in my sedan also, been thinking of taking the seats out of my roadster and see if they fit in the sedan, if they do I might order me a set, although biggest problem would be to find seats that match the leather in the sedan.

Really? Both of my G coupes were 6mt, and they both had armrests.

That roadster is very nice. The wing and tint make it look so much better. For some reason I have always thought the rear wheels should be 1" larger than the fronts like 19/20's.

I love my sedan but of all three I like the looks of the G coupe best. I am just glad the sedan has all the performance of the coupe. There are some of us that need 4-doors and still want to feel like we have a sports car.

In the back of my mind I keep thinking about selling my G, getting a used 350Z and then getting a cheap high MPG $5,000 car or maybe even take my wife's 98 Legacy GT wagon when we move her up to an 05 GT wagon. I love the Zs and the prices for used 04s is quite reasonable. What holds me back is my 16 month old son hence the reason I need another car if I have a Z. Also, since I currently live in Atlanta, there is NO WAY IN HELL I would have a 6MT. Traffic is a nightmare from 7am-9am and from 4pm to 7pm. Half of my 13 mile commute often includes rolling and stopping for miles on end. I don't see how anyone could be happy with a manual daily driver in Atlanta if they face rush hour traffic often.

IMO, the Roadster has always looked a little odd. The rear of the car is too long when the back pillar is lopped off. The additional 180lbs in weight and even worse storage capacity is also another turn off. I'd much rather have a white 350Z coupe with burnt orange leather.

They have a small armrest, but a armrest none the less

Armrest was a option for the coupe. Some have it some do not. You can easily add one.

With any roadster it always looks better with the top down. I have a daily driver with my G35 sedan so the roadster is strickly a weekend fun car. I would not recommend it to anyone if it was there only car.

Here's a few pics with the top down

Here's a picture with the new front spoiler, looks better in person tho

It's a stillen wing, costs around $350 and you need a body shop to paint it.

get a g35 sedan and put on 350z springs and shocks, you'll have the best of both worlds.
