I just got a urgent recall notice

They said they have to replace the fuel lines, because the lines start to crack. anyone else get this?

I got it a couple weeks ago. Mine is currently in the shop getting this fixed. I dropped it off yesterday, and they said it should be done today.

Atleast the loaner isn't a bad replacement.

Chico,

Its for 2003-2004 cars. You have nothing to worry about.
I had mine done a couple of weeks ago.

Cheers,

Bill

I don't believe it applies to ALL '03-'04's. I just called my dealership and they looked up my car and said there are no recalls on it....may be one of those recalls that only affect certain VIN #'s.

It's in here: Everyone should bookmark this site for recalls and a list of TSBs and other information.

I talked with a buddy about this that works at Infiniti. He said this is nothing to play with! From what I understood it was for all 03 04's.

Holy ***, did you look at the procedure?
Goodbye crappy fuel line, Hello suspension creaks and my back end falling apart after they reattach everything lazily with a pneumatic impact wrench.

This scares me.

I have not received any recall notice yet.

Whenever they do it, I'll ask them to check my brakes. My 3 year warranty expires in just 6 months, and if it needs to be done I would prefer to have it done under warranty

Are you sure it's fuel lines? Or fuel filler hose?... There is a TSB on the fuel filler hose for a limited number of 03 & 04
