to any dealers out there, or anyone else for that matter:
supposedly, there is a tsb out for my problem. can you give me more info regarding itb02052? my center console controls are dead, and this is the second time this has happened. the first time it happened, the center console lights went out, the buttons didn't work, the a/c was stuck on auto, and the radio was stuck on. i could still control the radio using the steering wheel controls, but not from the center console itself. my dealer replaced part 28041-AM615 and everything was okay. this first incident was back in august. now, it has happened again, only this time the radio is stuck off, and the steering wheel controls do not function. i have tried pulling the radio fuse, and disconnecting the negative terminal of the battery as some have suggested, but both of these have failed. i have also heard about a loose connection behind the unit itself, but haven't checked that.
to make things worse, i have an aftermarket amplifier and speakers, so i think the dealer may try to deny warranty coverage based on that. i have spoken to their service advisor before, and he indicated that it would void the warranty. however, i believe the magnusson-moss act protects me from that right? they need to prove that the aftermarket part caused the failure? plus, i would think that since this has happenned before, and at that time the stereo was all stock, they should cover it?
any information you can provide me is greatly appreciated.
thank you.

Take out your aftermarket amps and stuff and make it all stock again, and if it still doesnt work then take it back to them... with the stock stuff back in they shouldn't say anything....
Depending on how the amps and stuff was wired up, it might of screwed up something... but it could easily be something screwed up with the car itself...
