Whistler 3500 Installed

Just got done doing some little mods to my 3 week old. Modified the sidemarkers to flash, changed the fog lights and also installed the Whistler 3500 Wireless Remote lasar/radar detector. I didn't see anybody here with one of these yet, so I wanted to post some pictures. It workes very good. The laser sensor is very small and goes up by the mirror and has a 360 detection, the actual radar I installed right under the license plate and the brain unit went by the snow button so its a little hidden but I can see it fine while driving. Here are some pictures:

Takes about 5 min each. You just tap the sidemarker's ground wire to the turnsignal wire. You would need 10" of wire and 2 taps. There are instructions with pictures on http://www.6mt.net/mod-g35-sidemarker.php

Yeah really!

maybe the pictures are making it seem harder than it really is. I think it would take me about 5 min to get the car up and take the wheel off..

I bought the unit on Ebay for $225 and installed it myself in about an hour. Its pretty easy cause the radar is wireless therefore you dont need to run any wires to the inside of the car.
