G Mod's Anonymous

Please for God's sake, help me. Hi, my name is Ryan, and I'm a chronic mod-oholic. It's been 12 minutes since my last mod purchase. I'm in serious trouble here. Ok, let me take you through the last 28 days. I purchased my Black 06' G35 5AT Sedan on March 3rd. Since then, I've :

Tinted Windows
Purchased 20" rims and tires (Black Chrome)
Purchased Black Chrome lugs (chrome didn't look right with rims...$106.00)
Got Clear Sidemarkers
Got LED's for the sidemarker and license plate.....looks cool
Painted the trim around the doors and door handles black
Bought a K & N
Bought a Z-tube
Getting the front lip spoiler installed tomorrow
Getting the Eibach Pro Kit installed on Friday
and 12 minutes ago purchased the Motordyne 1/2" plenum spacer

What the heck is wrong with me... my car isn't even a month old. Someone please start a support group as I need a sponser. Thanks for your support.

I'm out!!!!!

lol, welcome to g35driver.com, where you get ADDICTED to modding your car. I'm in the same boat as you, i just spent $800 on 4 mods in a 6 day span a couple weeks ago. just stay off this site and it should keep the addiction down.

BTW-post some pics of your car.

yeah, there's really not much you can do with the exterior of the 05-06's other than a drop and the lip.

Yeah, painting the chrome on the door trim and handles really sets mine apart (look wise) from the other Black Sedan's, but it only really works on the Black cars. The chrome looks nice on the rest of the colors.

I am a proponent of the no chrome on the black sedan... I am considering the mod.

Foo G, i'm sure my wife would prefer the **** also, like you said.....much cheaper. I'll shoot you a pic this weekend and you can get another look at a black sedan with the chrome done since you're considering it.

What's wrong is you should have ordered the M-REV not just the spacer

Hey welcome to the boards. Modding is definitely addicting once you have taken the first step.

Yeah that is what my wife told me to do! LOL

I would appreciate the photos; my modds so far have been focused on the convienence features. I bought some ST SS Brake lines today from a fellow G35Driver member and am looking for the Ztube and considering the spacer and mrev as well but I am still on a learning curve with some of these products. I'd certainly like to hear how those work out for you.
