I want to hardwire my V1 in, but I don't have the fancy homelink mirror so I thought I would use the power to the dome lights as the dectector's power source. I found a DIY on how to do it, but when I tried to pry the assembly down from the rear it did not want to move. Before I put some force on it I want to make sure I'm heading in the right direction. I do have the sunroof if that makes any difference.
