A cure for static shocks

I have located a source for four static straps. Since I only need one that leaves three for someone else. Would any of you folks be interested in stopping those static electricity shocks for about $11 to $13 delivered?? I'm not really sure on the price but I'm very close.
Please let me know if you are interested.
Thanks
Chuck

don't kid yourself I don't think you can get rid of that. It's created by your body not your car.

gtbigup01 is right. Because your body isn't grounded, you're generating charge in the car, so if your 4 static straps are something you sit on or somehow have in contact with your skin, you'll still be getting shocked.

it works by constantly discharging ions, and it does work, but really...come on now. are you really going to attach one of these onto your car? come on...it a g35, not a delta 88.

i don't know if you are old enough to remember, in the seventies, they use to strap two rubber straps behind the car, long enough to touch the ground. the toll boths back then, had a metal strap on a hinge to discharge the cars so that the toll collectors wouldn't get shocked.

Question Static Straps

The system is so very simple. The strap is attached by a bolt or screw anywhere under the car that you care to connect it to. I would put it close to the center because I don't really want it to be seen. What it does is touch the ground and ground the car to discharge any static electricity direct to the pavement. That means you won't get jolted whenever you get out and touch the door or whatever. It's also a safety device so that static electricity won't build up when you are refueling. I fly a plane for fun. We NEVER refuel without attaching a static/grounding strap.
I can either order one for myself or place an order for four at a reduced price for whoever may want one.
