i tho i have a lot of mileage on my car, but once i read thru everyone's accomplishment on their mileage, i guess mine is nothing compared with them..but anyway, i got it last year august, so one year and a month, and i have 22800 on it..i am a grad student, i live on campus, when i got my car it was only like 5 miles on it, but its weird since i live on campus, i still have tons of mileage in my G... i guess i just love driving this incredible mechine!

same here chako410. grad student, about 4 miles when i got the car, but live off-campus like less than 5 miles away. i think roaming around the campus lots trying to find a parking spot contributes to my daily mileage. [img]/w3timages/icons/mad.gif[/img]

The G is my buisness car so that is the main reason it has so many miles, I cover all of North and South Carolina

 

It has been a while since ive responded to this thread. However I wanted to make an update. I now have 108,749 miles on my G35 sedan since purchased 08/02/02............


How many miles do you have??

 

DAMN 108,000!! Ive got 53,XXX on mine , got it last year with 36,000

 

Is it still running strong

 

108,000 which are about 95% Highway mileage.

Today the battery finally died on me. I had a feeling that it needed to be replaced.

 

Yup! Its funny how you do not realize how much you enjoy driving the G until you have to drive another vehicle. Today I was forced to use my spare beater vehicle (nissan sentra) to make my commute to work since the battery just died in my G. The ride was absolutely horrible!

I am running out first thing in the morning to get a new battery :-)

 

Your battery is an ironman compared to mine. I bought my G from private party w/ 38,XXX miles and at 39,XXX miles i had to replace the battery.

 

I'm just starting out on my G but it's good to know I can hit 108k someday.

Btw I'm new to the forum, this is a great forum because I normally get my answers just by searching past threads!

 

+1...damn...i just rented a nissan sentra last week for business trip, that car is a really pos compared to the G...

damn, over 100k. I'll be there in a couple years. I'm at 26xxx with about a year and a half on my 05 Gsedan.

Did you do all the regular maintanence at the rec. intervals? what about the tune-up, have you had that done yet??

Bought it new in July '02 and now I have 65k. Got a new long block at 30k.
