This Saturday I will be dropping my G Sedan off at Beaverton Infiniti in Beaverton, OR for my 60,000 mile service.

They will also be doing the fuel line recall at the same time.

I live in Eugene, OR and Beaverton Infiniti is the nearest dealership, about 118miles away.

They seem really nice out there, the service tech told me I could bring it in on saturday, take a loaner G, and bring it back next saturday if I want.

I won't be able to wait that long so I will probably leave it there until tuesday (when my work load is a bit lighter than usual).

You guys think it is safe to leave my car with them for like 5 days, with my stereo mods and rims?

I am having them do the filmy headlight TSB, and probably the clock TSB also.

They quoted me $591 for the 60,000 mile service and also suggested a throttle body cleaning and fuel system flush for an additiona hundred and change, all in all I'll be just over $700.

Any thoughts? Any suggestions? Stuff I should insist they check before my primary 60,000 mile warranty is up (400 miles). I do have an extended warranty from nissan, but still want to get everything I can done under the original warranty.

Just have them do what is specified in the service manual from Infiniti. All the extras will eat your lunch. BTW, I had the throttle body cleaned at 30 and 60K miles.

 

I did a search on your "filmy headlight TSB". I didn't find anything. What were you referring to? Thanks.
