I went to a seat cover shop the other day, and they custom measured my seats for covers, with cutouts for the side air bags.
They installed them today, and I feel they will help me keep the seats looking good. I only covered the fronts. I get so sweaty here in the summer when it is 90 degress plus every day, along with high humidity. I didn't want to stain my seats, and didn't like the look of a towel draped over it.

The purpose of this thread is to let others know it's possible to get covers for use with our seats.

Pics would be great, b/c I am in the same boat with the crazy sweating. In fact my black leather seats in my BMW turned white from all the sweating I did.

Hmmm. Can't say that they really fit the interior very well. Also, our air bags drop from the headliner on the sedan. Couldn't really tell if you had a coupe or sedan. They don't come out of the seats.

The covers do not fit like factory. They are for protection basically, not looks so much. My car is an '06 sedan.
As for the airbags not coming out of the seats.... this is from the Infiniti website:

Although I appreciate your trying to be helpful, I don't understand the need for these covers to keep the seats looking and feeling new. My car is 2.5 years old, and the seats look and feel new. I live in the same climate you do and have the black interior. My car sits outside during the day. Even during the summer in my suit I don't sweat to the point where I'm drenched or damaging the seats with persperation.

My windows are tinted with Huper Optick Ceramic 50 which has nearly 70% heat rejection (compared to metallic based tints which only offer about 30%), and I condition my leather about every two or three months with Griot's leather cleaner/conditioner. That's it.

You've answered your own question in a way.... I have light gray (stone) seats, and you have black leather. Black is a lot easier to care for.
I also have a 2004 Corvette Z06 with black leather and don't cover them.
I forgot to say..... I'm obsessive/compulsive. Especially when it comes to my cars.

I had my stone interior in south Texas for almost a year (8 month summer - last summer we had 19 days in a row over 105 with 60-80 % humidity - 90s would have been a cold snap) and didn't have a problem.

Covers aren't a bad idea, I'm just not sure you chose the right ones. If they suit you, that's all that matters. If I were going to cover my seats I'd have to have a factory look - your interior looks like furniture being stored in a vacant house to me. Doesn't fit the obsessive/compulsive moniker.

There are not many options available for seats with side airbags.
I agree, they are not going win any contest. I had to settle.

Yeah, guess you're right. I still don't think my vehicle has them. I have an 03.5 sedan. I think I just have the curtain air bags.
