and it is an all-new model, not just a revamp or heavy refresh of the current model.

and it will have touch screen navigation, unlike the current M's infiniti controller set-up.

The G probably lost some sales because it didn't have a touch screen navi. I'm not surprised that they added it on the new G (if it's true).

 

well yes but i was expecting infiniti to use the infiniti controller from the M and the FX as it seemed to be their new across-range idrive-type system.

Same here, but maybe the smaller cockpit does not allow for such controls. Who knows???

I love the M...love it...(it's under rated).....but hope the G stands alone.

 

in the coupe concept, we saw an infiniti controller with far fewer buttons than the one on the M or the FX. maybe that's a clue.

edit infiniticoncept, an insider at the freshalloy forums, claims the engine will be a 3.7.l but the name will stay as G35. which adds yet another layer of mystery to the first post! infiniti, you're killing us here!

 

Can't wait to see this new G and start saving my pennies to get one.....oh yeah baby........lol

Great! How about getting some pictures of the engine, air intake, radiator area as well as the underbody and as much of the exhaust system as possible.
