Question about using a shop lift

Hey my buddy works in an autoshop that has lifts.

He said I can come use his lift to do some exhaust and suspension mods.

Is there anything special I need to do in order to lift the g35 sedan on a shop lift? I kind of remember hearing something about needing to take special precautions when lifting the g sedan because of the frame design. Can someone who knows their **** let me know what I need to do?

Thanks
