FYI .. GSedan35 tested my OEM 05 ' x springs ... Rates are F/R .. 283/355

So for sedans ....

Sedan
2003 - 2006 - G35 sedan sport suspension spring rates - 314/342
2003 - 2006 - G35 sedan non sport spring rates - 283/308
2004 - 2006 - G35x spring rates - 283/355

... as you can see the X has stiffer rear springs than any RWD sedan, but, same front rate as non sport RWD Sedan.

This means that we can lower our X easier. Just check the other companies spring rates. Thanks for the info bro.

Some one with more knowledge on the subject may want to chime in,
But, from what I understand, the following would be a good approach:

Front : Any front springs that work on a NON-sport RWD Sedan should work perfect on the X (since both have same OEM spring rate)

Rear: Any Rear springs that work on a SPORT RWD Sedan should work perfect on the X (since both have VERY CLOSE OEM spring rate)

How do spring rates compare to the revised & unrevised 350z springs?

well, the unrevised ones are closer to spec!!

2004 - 2006 - G35x spring rates - 283/355

03/04 oem Z spring rates 314/342
04.5 to 06 oem Z spring rates 314/427

does this mean that it is better to go with the unrevised versions?

sorry for little off topic from the X-spring rate.

So for the RWD sport suspension sedan, from what you're saying, it is better to have the unrevised Z springs because the revised would be too stiff and maybe bouncy. Is it correct?
