Loaner car helped NOT get speeding ticket

This was weird. I took my 03 car up to Lokey to get some warranty work done. They gave me a loaner (05 auto sedan) to use the last couple of days. I had to drive a good bit (Radio Shack training in Naples) and on the way back was getting held up by this semi that would never get over to the right. Finally was able to pass him and I got into it hard (about 90-95 mph) and got around him. Of course as soon as I did low and behold I blow right past a Trooper just waiting for me (My SR7 in MY car would have saved me). Before I was all the way past him he was already pulling out so I knew I was thru. Anyways he finally catches up pulls me over, asks for the usual documents and asked the "did you know how ...”. Says I will be back in a minute. Like 10 minutes later walks up and says "Well this is going to be a 200.00 *** RAPE!”. Then he smiles and says his computer was in the car was not working right and he did not feel like writing it all out. Says for me to be careful but that "We are not really concerned with folks speeding in cars like this, but the older folks (I'm 40) who are driving to fast in cars that cannot handle it". I said thanks shook his hand, chit chatted for a few about my work ect and I was on my merry way.

Funny thing is when I got pulled over kept saying "of all the bad luck". 15 minutes later it was the complete opposite.

By the way, Other than the front clip, tail lights and the back lit steering wheel controls........ I like mine better. I got into it a few times and I honestly felt both cars are about the same as far as performance. It sounded good (although I like the way mine sounds with the coupe midpipe even better) and suspension had to have been the performance because seemed a good bit stiffer.

Final thoughts= I want mine back. Maybe tomorrow.

Would the coupe midpipe work on a 2006 G35x? How much better does it actually sound?

Yeah sorry, I meant the Z intake tube.

The midpipe definately sounds much better than stock. Everybody who rides in it comments on how nice it sounds. Seems the HKS muffler makes it sound even better but I have not got that far yet. Hell I have had the car less than a month.

One small downside to the coupe midpipe is the drone I get around 1500 rpm. It is pretty noticeable. Still think it is a great cheap upgrade.
