03.5 G Sedan Windshield

The other day I was driving along and a rock cracked my windshield, the company who came to replace it keeps receiving the wrong glass. One type has the mount for the electronic rearview and the other like I have is a plain jane bullet style mirror mount. My question is, does any one know if the cars are pre wired if in fact I just have the guy put in the glass with digital mirror mount? I know sometimes cars are prewired for alot of the options although the car does not come with them installed. Thanks again.

i just had mine replaced yesterday by safelite. 290 + tax. i used them because i don't want a smaller co do the job and might regret it. i don't think they are prewired but they ask me like if i have a band tint on top of the windshield, night and day adj rear view mirrors etc. there is no wire that goes across the windshield that i can think of except the rear view mirrors which just gets attach to it.

i also have an 03.5 sedan

SO the safelite replacement glass you had installed HAS the tint band on the top like the OEM glass?
