Rear Bumper Paint Job Nightmare!!!!

My rear bumper was hit two weeks ago. The bumper was not cracked, but it was dented right on the crease mark half way down the bumper. I took it to my dealership so they could fix it. However, when I picked it up today you can still see some warping under the new paint job.

They said I need to buy a new bumper if I want it perfect becuase the crease part of the bumper is too hard to replicate when damaged.

Sound right?

If it's not your fault, the car should be fixed properly.

Even if it is your fault, it should be fixed properly. when I took one of my cars to a body shop, they had a machine that allowed them to heat of the plastic mend it together and reform it.

Wow, how many wrecks do you get in?? (lol).

I would have to agree, if the shop said that they could FIX it, and it's not 100%, it's the shops issue. Take it back in and make 'em "fix" it right this time.

Tell them you do not want it perfect--you want original condition. Its too hard, boo--fockiiiiiing hooo .
Thats your car buddy and your re-sale value. You have them fix it right. The estimate should always include replacing the bumper and or fender/doors if body work is too complex and expensive and thus replacement is the option.

Man, Sewell Infiniti's body shop sucks. They tried to fix my bumper a second time and it looks worse. Overspray on the bottom black park. Odd brush marks embedded in the paint in several places. Sharp plastic edges around the license plate corners. Uneven paint. It looks like they just sanded a few areas and repainted over parts of the paint. How hard can this be? Service King does a better job than this crap. Ugggg!!!

Does anyone know of a good body shop in Dallas?
