Panic button

I have accidentally set off my G35's "panic" mode three times so far. It happens when I'm carrying a few items in my hand and something presses up against the remote. I've noticed that the Panic button presses just about as easily as the other buttons on the keyfob. Is there a fix for this or do I just have to live with it? The Panic button on every other keyfob I've ever used required much more force than any other button.

Re: Panic button

Do you want to disble it permanently, or just make it really hard to press? It may be easier to do the former...

To be perfectly honest, the one button on my keyfob that I want to work easily is the panic one As the blood slowly drains from my body, laying strewn in the gutter, will I be able to summon the energy to press it til my thumb turns white? Eh, I don't even use that keyfob anymore since I got my alarm system, so I don't care My main concern is when I accidentally hit the "anit-hijack" button in my car when I'm trying to pop the hood. D'OH!
