My drivers side wiper skitters across the windshield and it's driving me crazy... Is there a better than stock wiper blade suggestion that anyone can make... my last car I used PIAA blades and those were good but wondering if there is better

Re: wiper blade recommendations
There is a TSB for that. Check in the TSB section. They either replace the whole assembly or put a washer under the pivot point.

I've heard great things about the BOSCH MicroEdge as well.

Yeah, that's the first TSB I had performced. Just go in and say "My windshielf wipers shudder", and they'll know what you're talking about. Don't throw money into new blades yet-- Doesn't take long to fix, but you might want to schedule a loaner just in case you need anything else done. Good luck with it...

Yep, BOSCH is the way to go in wipers, it came standard on my CLK430 and lasted the whole three years that I owned the car. They're the best wipers, IMO.
