No G35 Sport package for the Sedan is mentioned, that's a contradiction from earlier information - unless I've missed it:

"Highlights of the 2007 G35 Sedan include:

· Available in four models – G35, G35 Journey, G35x AWD, G35 6MT"

I guess Infiniti won't offer "sport" version of G35 sedan. However the option list includes "Performance Tire & Wheel Package and Sport Appearance Package". Once you add these options, you'll get a G35 Sport..:)

So "only" 306 hp.... Somehow I thought it will be slightly higher than that. It's exact same rating as the Lexus IS350. However this number is based on the new hp rating system, so the it is good for "real" 30hp improvement over the current 280hp AT sedan.

Can't wait to see the official pricing.

I'll go with Journey pkg, Performance Tire & Wheel Package and Sport Appearance Package. Not sure about Nav. yet.

Previous information yielded a sport package for the sedan that was more then just cosmetic, like a LSD and sport suspension.

Man, none of these links are working at the moment..........

Looks like no voice recognition as well: "Available touchscreen Infiniti Navigation System with available XM® NavTraffic™ with real-time traffic information and a 9.5 gigabyte audio server"

I wonder if they upgraded the screen resolution like the IS has, that runs @ 800x600 - what a difference this screen makes.

New exterior colors – Garnet Ember, Slate Blue and Platinum Graphite

Platinum Graphite sounds sweet :) :D :p

did anyone else pick this up regarding the '07 coupe?

For 2007, the standard VQ 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 engine produces 275 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque, while the G35 Coupe 6MT model generates 293 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque.

that means that the new SAE ratings for the existing engines aren't too far off from infiniti's, -5 hp and -2 lb-ft torque

Bruce Ri Jul 20, 2006 06:02 PM

What about torque numbers?! Tease!

I wonder if Slate Blue will be different from Lakeshore Slate, sounds like it's the same color by the name anyway.

Nice find!

A lot of packages.....Fully loaded might break that $42k barrier.

The new engine should be able to generate more power than 306 hp to anywhere between 320 and 330. I bet Infiniti is saving that for the 2008 G35 coupe to give it little bit more sport appeal and go real head-to-head with the BMW's new 335i coupe with 300hp.
