Looks like nothing for the new G to fear here - too bad it's not RWD and the outcome may be different. Nice interior though:

I actually like the look of the TL both exterior and interior......but that FWD platform is a killer for Acura. I wonder when they will wake up and put the power to the rear wheels?

When Honda does and that will be never. Same with VW and Audi. Atleast Audi has Quattro though.

To me the TL got OLD in a hurry....
The exterior does absolutely nothing for me.

Remember though. Edmond's drivers are like grannies. Look to MT for a more true performance times.

But Canuck is right about the FWD. Acura will more likely AWD the TL before they go RWD. They can use the MDX/RDX/RL running gear.

They also reviewed the 07 G35 sedan... so the comparison is only proportional and fair.

The 07 G35 has nothing to fear in this TL... which like many said, is getting really old

I actually agree. I would prolly buy a TL if it came in AWD.

I always thought they should put SH-AWD in the TL. I think it's one of the best AWD systems around.

Yup...that's why the G35x is the front runner in my options with 2nd place being the GS350 AWD (the IS250 AWD is too weak & small-rear seat). Would prefer not spending the $10k for the GS, so I hope Infiniti does this G35 right...

Yeah, the FWD stops this car from competing with the G IMO. Hey Shane, LOL, maybe you can get one of those flying Chevy's...........

+1. If I only like a car in one color, there's something wrong with its looks. For instance, I only like the TL in black, and worse of all, only from certain angles from the rear.

Like others have mentioned, the addition of Acura's SH-AWD may have changed this car's dynamics also.

Agreed. There is no question the SH-AWD would change the driving dynamics of the TL. I just don't get why Acura hasn't responded with at least the SH-AWD in their TL, given who their competition is. It doesn't make any sense to me.
