Wow...good catch...I didnt even notice that at first.

Also, does anyone know if the 07 G35 has/will have the auto tilt-down side mirrors when in reverse?

+1 on the tilt down mirrors, also, how about the rain sensor wipers?

Hmmm. interesting seeing more details of the textured aluminum. Not sure about it yet, need to see it in person I guess and see how a whole cabin full of teh stuff works. Love the look of the gauges and the info screen though. Super cool you get that even without Nav. That's the way it should be on a car of this calss.

If you scratch the washi trim, you'll never notice it. LOL

Most of the time, plain "metallic" finish (i.e. IS350 and 2006 G35) just looks like high-gloss plastic.
Have to disagree, the "brushed aluminum" trim in the '05-'06 G, doesn't look like high gloss plastic.

Hm, maybe you're right. Maybe it's just the "metallic" trim on the IS350 that looks like high-gloss plastic then.

+1 on not liking the textured aluminum in the pics but it's not a deal killer. I bet it looks better in person and it's one of things that grows on you.

The Lexus' trim definitely looks like plastic (I assumed it was plastic).

Nice photo gallery with great detail shots.

I wish someone would take the engine cover off, though.

The "silver" trim on the IS interior, is reminiscent of the "titanium" trim on the original G IMO.
