2007 Infiniti G35x AWD, 2007 Lexus GS 350 AWD, or 2007 Acura MDX?

I'll be getting one of the above vehicles from my parents this November / December. I'll probably be keeping this vehicle for a long time ( five or six years ) so I don't want to spend money on something I'll get bored with in a year or two. I plan on test driving all three vehicles before purchasing and I know this is an Infiniti forum, but just for fun if you were in my situation what vehicle would you choose and why? Thanks. I can't wait for November / December!

GS350 is fast and comfortable and the interior is really nice, but there is a lot of road noise for a Lexus and if you dont need something so big I would'nt get it. The G is probably the best choice because it's not too big but still fits everything you need, is fast, sporty, and comfortable. The only drawback is the interior is a little plasticky..but since 2005 its not too bad. The MDX sounds really nice but if you dont need an SUV dont bring another one onto the road lol

I'm choosing between the G35X & the GS350AWD also. The new Acura MDX should be nice, but I'm not a fan of SUVs. I'm planning on test driving both, but right now I'm leaning towards the G35 because it's 10k cheaper, which is better for me since I'm only 26. Also, I like that the G35 is a bit more sporty looking ( prefer the look of the older GS compared to the newer ones). Also, I like how the AWD in the G35 is RWD until it needs the traction in the front. There's still a chance that I'll go w/ the GS350AWD, but I wont know till I can drive both.

I currently have a Honda Civic and one of the reasons I picked it over the Nissan Sentra was because of the ease of steering. It required too much effort to turn the wheel on the Nissan. I've noticed the same in a few Maximas. I hope it's not the same issue w/ the G35. From my experience, Honda/Toyota steering is much easier giving it a nimbler feeling. My friend had the same experience which is why he went from the G35c to the IS350 (he had an IS300 before the G35).

I don't necessarily need an SUV, but I've always kind of wanted one and I don't know why. The 2007 Acura MDX looks extremely nice ( especially the interior ) so I figured I'd look into it.

WTF?! The 2007 Acura MDX doesn't have a Keyless Access System, a standard auto day / night mirror with compass, real wood trim, ventilated seats, a one touch up / down rear window function, or a Adaptive Front Lighting System ( AFS )! I was excited for this vehicle. For a $48,500 vehicle this is unacceptable!

The main difference between the new and old MDX is the body design, NavTraffic, and SH-AWD. I'm pretty sure, they didnt change much else.

It looks that way. The 2007 Acura MDX is a good example of why Acura will never be considered a true premium luxury automobile brand like Lexus, BMW, Infiniti, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, etc.

Yeah...I was pretty set on the RDX up until the start of the summer when they released the full details and pricing. The passenger seat is manual (no power controls), and the pricing is about $2-3k more than it should be (w/ the Tech Package). The leather is nice, but not quite up to Lexus/BMW/MB/Infiniti level...etc.

Yeah ... The 2007 Acura RDX is a joke. Especially for the price.

My thoughts exactly. My first car was a mid 70's Plymouth Valiant, army green with a slant 6.
