yeah unfortunately we're getting only 10 6mt's which are pre-ordered already so they're basically sold. as far as the premium, nav, tech cars they will be limited at first but more will be produced. the cars i ordered yesterday are ready to be shipped for early november and then next month we're building more G35's that will arrive by January 2007.

So can we assume that there will not be Infiniti "wine and cheese" test-drive parties thrown in different areas, much like Lexus did with the new IS release (Taste of Lexus) and Audi did with the Q7 release (Streets of Tomorrow)? Just dealer sponsered evenings at the dealerships, perhaps?

I like these car events, but from my experience MB has the nicest. Lexus was funny (I did the one in Belmont NY), it was easy to drive a LS430 or GS350. The line was outrageous to drive a 330i or IS 350 or 250. Drove the hybrid SUV too. I laughed because I just walked up and was given the LS430 without any wait. And the fact was it's a beautiful car, though dated.

I was at the unveiling of the 2k6 330--they hyped it up by covering the car yet everyone knew what it looked like. A girl said, "I can't believe this event, at least Mercedes provided lobster and champagne." A man replied, "As they should!" Just funny to see how different the classes of people are. I would have been just as happy with hot dogs and burgers and wings!

If that golddigger wanted lobster and champagne that badly she should have stopped by the nearest "upscale" restaurant.

With the money you save buying the G35 over the IS350 and the 335i, you could probably rent an entire Red Lobster for a whole weekend.

I live by the coast, so we get fresh seafood all the time. I've been to RL only once in my life. Absolutely horrible I have two friends in Mississippi who actually met working at RL, and are now happily married. But even they won't go back to RL to eat.
