I don't know if it's a region-based thing, but on my way back from work, there was a commercial on 94.9 for the G35! They had some guy speaking with a German-accent. They're obviously mocking BMW. It was a radio commercial for both Peninsula and Frontier Infiniti in the Bay Area.

Anyone else?

Any particular model year of G35? The deаlers probably have some '06s to clear out. And, just out of curiousity, what kind of programming does 94.9 do? I'd be interested to know what demographic deаlers pushing G35s in the Bay Area go for.

I forgot, but they just mentioned the new G35 in general, talking about horse power and rear active steering. 94.9 is a hip hop/rap station. Basically, it's the "coolest" station for the younger crowd. Makes you wonder, doesn't it? Maybe dealerships now-a-days know that more and more young people are driving nicer and nicer vehicles. Or that more and more of them have rich daddies and mommies.

WILD 94.9

Goofy,
I'll flip over to that channel on Friday, 20th when I'm cruising through the Bay area. I'm going to stop by Infiniti of Oakland and then Infiniti of Fairfield to terrorize, er test drive, their new Gs on my way back to Sac.
I haven't heard comm'ls yet in Sactown.

Good question, DWP. You've inspired me to start an age survery:

For those of you who have attended the launch event, you should've seen a short video of the car and the brush "swoosh" symbol. I think that'll be the commercial on TV as well.

So I'm watching the Nets Pre-Game show (Jason Kidd's on my fantasy team) on YES Network sponsored by Infiniti and the first commercial break had the new G as it's first commercial. It starts with a snowflake forming and then falling onto the 2007 G35x since it talked about AWD.

Damn the car looks sweet...

For those who are in the GTA, there was a half-page black and white ad in the Toronto Star. Then it was followed on the next day with a colour half-page spread over 2 pages. Not bad at all.

That's all I have seen so far.
