No Technology Package on your G35 Sport canuck? Also, did you get the exact date of deliver yet?

 

No, I didn't get the Tech package. The AFS was the only thing that I thought would be useful, but just didn't want to pay the extra $1200 for that one feature.

Also, I didn't get a exact date of delivery yet. There were a few cars delivered to my dealer today and mine wasn't one of them. It might be held up in Vancouver due to the strike.

 

I'd be going crazy right about now.

 

It does suck, but what are ya gonna do? A fellow member here (07G) that ordered from the same dealer as me got his in today and will take delivery on the 25th. Hopefully mine will be here soon.

Diamond Grapite w/graphite 'X' and everything except the rosewood. I'm supposed to be getting it on Tuesday.

 

Right now...the decision seems:

X-AWD w/ Premium, Navi, Tech. Wheat Interior w/ Rosewood...Exterior color is still TBD.

 

For the wife (most likely... she doesn't want an IS anymore!!!)

IP G35 Sport 5AT Sedan Premium, Nav, Maybe Tech w/ Graphite interior....depending on price of course!

 

Serengeti Sand, no options, definitely with the hot spoiler, preferably 16" rims if I could, and I wish they had cloth seats or cheap leather. And PLEASE drill those two holes in the front bumper for my front license plate bracket, because I'm a law-abiding citizen of California.

Why do they even bother making serengeti sand?

Beige has to be the worst color ever for a car, escpecially one that is somewhat sporty.

Just curious, are you able to call Infiniti to see where the car is, or perhaps stop by the dealer and have them do that?

Not starting another "this forum..." but with the BMW, I called the 800 number and once I said my name the guy read me my home address, so he had a screen pop from my tel#. Then he went over the order with me and said my car has not reached production yet, and wont until 10/30. The guys on the BMW forum are so sick that they track the ships that their cars are on using the web!

In all seriousness, I think there are some pretty loyal Infiniti customers on this forum. Infiniti should recognize that and "personalize" the experience for people who place firm orders for cars. The G35 definitely costs enough to do that, and imagine an M45 sport or something. They should get their marketing and customer service wheels turning.....good luck, I hope you get your car soon!!
