In case Cdns are wondering, not worth buying from US

eg. G35AWD = 33950
x1.13 conversion = 38364
x1.06 duty = 40,665

Price in Canada is 43,390

You're not saving much, maybe 7%

In contrast, there are other vehicles where you save over 20%

The other vehicles would be american made, so NAFTA kicks in and saves the duty.

Vote to ban. G35 buyers do NOT consider American cars.

I was talking about Lexus, Mercedes, Audi etc. :-)

This is somewhat OT - sorry - but does the US-spec '07 have an option to digitally display speed and, if so, will it display in kph instead of mph? I know that the inner ring of the speedo displays kph, but it's small and the markers are only every 20 kph.

Our current cаr can display speed digitally as well as by the usual analog gauge, and it can be switched to kph. All the other computed measures can be switched to metric, such as time-to-km and km/litre fuеl consumption. That was very useful the last time we travelled in B.C.

$43,390 is base MSRP, Premium Package is another $3,300 which totals $46,690 (Cdn FPDI is $1,630, and US freight is $700). Once all totalled the difference is significant (closer to 15%). Before you consider buying in the US you should read Infiniti's warranty, as importing the vehichle in the first 6 months will void your warranty.

My mistake in typing premium. I was comparing base to base.

Premium vs premium is 8% different

36,100 -> 43,241 after converstion and duty vs $46,690 in Canada.

Still only $3k different which is probably not worth the hassle.
