I also bought a G tonight

Went to the unveiling tonight but in this case I actually bought the G they were unveiling.

Well the truth is I bought it over a week ago but had to wait to actually buy it until they had pricing. All the people there to see the unveiling didn't know I bought it but it was like a big party for me. They had a 5 piece band, food and open bar and a giant ice sculpture that was the G35 emblem.

It was never driven like some of the other G's and in fact it was under cover this hold time so nobody even got to see it until tonight.

It a Sport, PG with a graphite interior, NAV, Premium, Tech. Added splash guards and the 3M protection for the front. Won't be picking it up until next weekend as I'm gone all week.

Got a half decent deal on my 2003.5 as a trade in. One dealer wanted to give me $15K they gave me $17.5K.

Congrats! Another New Englander through Nashua - good times. Missed the unveiling at the dealership, but I think I'll survive - waiting for them to scrounge up my G35x in Graphite/Graphite/Wood P/N/T. So incredibly psyched.

COngrats. I was there as well tonight. Was quite a busy place...didnt get too much time to really look at the car but do really like it.

What are the other specs for your trade? 2003.5, but how about mileage?

I have an 05 6MT with 53K miles on it and KBB.com has it's trade in value at 18K or so...

Seems like I would take a huge beating doing a trade.

Congrats. Love the color choice. You'll have a lot of fun when you pick it up.

Cheers

Hi wavelenghts nice to see another New Englander! I didn't go to the unveiling at Nashua I went to the one at Norwood where I bought my G. Nashua has the blue slate noo the PG I wanted. I was going to try and hit both places but too far away. I wish I could of bought fron Nashua as they are only a few miles from my house.

You shouldn't have any problem finding an X as all the dealers in this area are getting a bunch of them. Very few Sports.

Hi sysadlight, sorry wasn't at Nashua, was at the Norwood one.

My 2003.5 had 54,000 miles and was in really great shape. Car is loaded including NAV. They basically gave me KKB value. So if you are trading you're looking at KBB trade in price.

By the way the hot car seems to be the FX35. The dealer told me all the trade ins get send overseas primarily Russia. Apparently these cars are hot over there and they get big money for them.

Nice -- congrats on your buy ......
Can I ask you what kind of a deal you got on it ??

Weren't you a nervous wreck at the event ?? -- I mean so many strangers climbing in and sitting in and playing with YOUR G - I know I would've not lived thru something like that !!!!
