Checked out New shipment

I was at the G Launch in Sacramento and their shipment came in during the event. I was able to check out about 8 cars w/ different packages/colors combos. Garnet Ember is hot and the wood option goes extremely well with the wheat two-tone interior.
My personal favorite was the Blue Slate with the stone interior, but all of the cars look great! Lakeshore is a good-looking, metallic medium blue. Black Obsidian is unbelievable and looks sick with the shapes on this car.

Do you think the Lakeshore would be a bit feminine? I don't mean to be sexist and offend anyone here. All I could do was send pics of it to friends and family, and almost none of them liked it. When I showed them the black, they drooled with me. I'm choosing between blue slate and lakeshore.

Elk Grove or Roseville? (the latter store calls itself "Infinitі of Sacramento" though it is in neither the city nor the county of Sacramento). Elk Grove didn't have anything but the "sample" I drove two weeka ago when I was there around 7:30 last night.

Also, may I politely suggest that you amend the title of your post to add "in Elk Grove, CA" or "in Roseville, CA", as the case may be? Lots of people will be checking for the arrival of shipments at their nearest store, and they won't care much about farr-away arrivals.

Goofy, I think the Blue Slate's the way to go - got a chance to see it in person in Miami before I came back up here for the term. It's one of those colors you can almost mistake for a dark grey. I think they got the tint just right, and it's a beauty of a color.

And black's great, but trust me, after having it on a huge monolith of a SUV before, if you're one for details, the paint swirls and any minor imperfections will drive you batty. Colors and metallics thankfully mitigate that - one of the reasons I'm opting for PG this time around.

I test drove the slate blue twice, and I agree with you, it's very dark (darker than the platinum graphite), and has hints of blue. It's not as blue as I had hoped, but still very sexy. I'm still waiting to see the Lakeshore on the '07, because it was the Lakeshore on the '06 that I saw one day a while back that inspired me to get a G in that color. If you happen to go back to the dealership, take pics for me! I'm waiting for the 11/10 batch of journeys to see what it looks like.

My apologies, you're correct I should specify which Sac dealer. I was at the Roseville dealership for the launch last night. They have the cars, they will be cleaned-up today.
The Blue Slate was on the showroom floor and it is simply beautiful. I am pre-disposed to blue so I'm a bit jaded. The nice thing about the Blue Slate is like what Goofy said earlier, it's almost dark grey in some light, but the blue adds a nice, rich tone to it.
Regarding the Lakeshore slate, it didn't appear feminine, but it didn't appear as 'masculine' as Blue or Obsidian might be. If I were to be totally honest, and hopefully nobody is offended, ahem, my wife & I agreed that the red was a little feminine. IMO- Beautiful, slick.. but reminded me of lipstick. But that's just me!

I got a call from my Infiniti rep in Elk Grove and he told me they got seven cars in this morning (Fri. 27).
