I thought that I read somewhere that someone said that the new G has ambient LED lighting like the IS, 3, and A4. Is this true?

Does anyone have any pictures of these lights? TIA...

 

Good question, and something I forgot to ask about at the introductory event last night. Our previous '97 BМW 528i had two little spots under the reаrview mirror that bathed the front compartment in a faint orange glow at night. Very cool. Our current cаr has ambient light fixtures in the ceiling (adjustable for brighness) that do much the same thing, with a whiter light. As pretty as the blue gauges must be at night, I hope they aren't the only interior lighting. Anyone?

 

if you can find where you found that somthing about someone saying somthing about Led ambient lighting that would cool, i hope the G has them

 

I switched to LED bulbs in all my interior lights on my 03.5 sedan and it changed the whole look of the interior completely. I got the complete set from Visionbulbs.

 

The ambient lights are ing the tiny holes next to the large interior lights/switches centered in the roof above the center consul.

 

Think you could get some photos of this? I'm curious as to the effect...

Yeah, we noticed the ambient lighting last night. Man, that **** is really annoying - gotta figure out how to disable those.
