Stealth Bulbs™ ....These bulbs look SILVER but flash AMBER
I thought about getting these type of bulbs for my current car a while back, but my understanding was that these don't flash a very strong amber like an amber bulb would be. I was told that it's a pretty dull amber color.

I have silver amber bulbs for my front turning signals in my Mazda6. They're nice. In the back, however, I got silver red bulbs, and they were too faint. During the day, it's difficult to tell that I'm signaling. So I swapped them out for regular red bulbs, but then the red is pinker than my brake lights.

Do the turn signals lit up when you turn the headlights on, like in the current models?

Good eye. It's call an X-Trail and Nissan sell a ton of them here.

Looks like you've been busy taking pics Mike. 8 days of ownership now, how would you sum it up?

I saw an X-Trail here in Michigan this past summer with manufacturer plates. It was quicker than I expected.

It's got the same 2.5L the Alty uses. It works well and is quite fuel efficient. If I was in the market for a smaller SUV, I would take the X-Trail in a heartbeat over a RAV4 or CRV. The X-Trail has a HUGE sunroof called a Pana roof that I really like. Mike's right, Nissan sells a ton of them here.

Stealth Bulbs

Colin (Msedanman) has changed his directional lights on the front of his M45. He installed the Stealth Bulbs in place of the stock amber bulbs. The change is very impressive, it looks so much better. Thanks for the pics Colin.
This would be a neat mod for the new 07 G35 as Ian suggested.

Stock bulbs unlit

After Stealth Bulb install, unlit.

Stealth Bulb, lit
