The manual doesn't include Navigation, which isn't unusual. Actually, I'm surprised that they included so many of the electronic features in the main manual. Any idea where the Navigation manual would be posted, if it's made available online?

2) I LOVE that you're everywhere! Because you're a big contributor to this forum. GREAT FIND!!! And it's ironic that you should be the last one to receive your G35.
1. I have really enjoyed this forum the last three years, no question. In all honesty, I never visited the site every day before the 07 Sedan. My posts per day are pretty low compared to some other guys here. Having said that, ever since I ordered my 07, I have been pretty much glued to the 07 Sedan section. Maybe I am a little addicted now......but I guess there are worse things to be addicted to, right?

2. Ironic yes, do I like that irony? No.

One interesting thing on Gracenote and displaying text:

Page 4-52

Title Text Priority:
Set the priority to CDDB (Compact Disc Data Base) to acquire track information from the Gracenote Database or set to CD TEXT to acquire the information from CDs.

That's really good since there are burning utilities that will write CDText for a track based on the MP3's ID3 tags.

Ask and you shall receive. Look about halfway down the page:

Those rascals at Nissаn must have updated the page since the last time I checked it. Thanks.

Oy ... more than half as many pages as the main manual (232) and a larger file (color graphics!)

Trust me Canuck... your addiction right now will not compare to your addiction once the aftermarket parts/mods are available

We'll need a separate thread about the navigation "Functions Disabled While Driving." Page 2-6 of the navigation manual is disturbingly vague about just what those "Functions Disabled" are; no list, just four uncaptioned pairs of parked and driving images.

I hate this big brother attitude -- what if I have a passenger who will operate the damn Nav when I drive ?? Hate it

Hopefully there is a hack that can be done ?!? Or I should be allowed to sign a waiver when I buy the car that I won't sue 'em and they remove these dumba$$ restrictions.

crap.

Prolly not, but you'll still have to "Accept" one of those lawyer-screens ("Warning! Danger! Danger!") each and every time you start the nav system.
