It doesn't matter if it's over the air or satellite or cable. In any case, there are indeed HD ads. I've seen plenty of them (not any Infiniti, but that doesn't mean there haven't been any). There are also many widescreen ads that aren't HD but at least they fill the screen. The worst is a letterboxed ad in a 4:3 pillarbox.

 

Just to name a few this week that I noticed: Apple, Target, Citi bank & Lexus. I'm watching on cable via the Detroit stations.

 

I saw the ads during the OU/A&M game on Saturday night and they were not in HD. But they were great ads. Great game, too.
