I honestly have to confess that I'm a hypocrite. My cousin and I made fun of the Sand since day one, but one day, we saw it at the dealership, and we were both wowed by it. Sometimes, it's not just about the color, but what car the color is on. In the case of the new sedan, the color adds a lot of luxury (albeit more mature, and classier more than sportier) to the car. I still personally wouldn't choose it, but you definitely can't go wrong with it. It's not a bright gold/copper or a flat yellow. Like GEE35X said, it's so light you can mistake it for an IP or a Platinum Graphite.

EXACTLY!!!!! I was fooled by this and so I REFUSED to get sand. I MADE SURE my dealership had my IP in before I stepped foot in the dealership. The day I go in, what do I see? A sand on the floor and I am in AWE. I hated myself for that

That color is p00! :P j/k

But it wasn't as bad as we initially thought in person. It's definitely not as "champaign" as most other sand colors. My boy did consider it for a few seconds, thank God it was only for a few seconds. It could of been easily a miserable 5 years lol.

LOL! We all make mistakes, no need to hide. How is your new FX workin' for ya?

I can't believe no one has seen an '07 S. Sand G yet! Earlier, no one could find a pic of IP and now we have tons of them. I know this color can't be that elusive.

Haha...yeah, no need to hide...I just like busting peoples' chops.

I still think the pics I posted are pics of SS. Some people said that it's PG/DG, but here's a pic of a member's DG sedan and it doesnt look like the same color to me.

*Shrug* You could be right. I just thought S. Sand was lighter than the color of the car you posted.

I found some Sergenti Sand pics:

They certainly look different than the ones shown before for the 2007 G35.

^ There we are. Now that's more like it. The sand doesn't look too bad on the 07.

Yeah, I really like the color, glad I took my time to search for it before I make my final decision.

I think I will order the SS. It will also probably look the best with wheat interior so thats another plus.
