Dove off the deep-end today!

Went to check out the car today. The dealer in Colorado Springs only had ONE 2007 in, but it happened to be exactly what I wanted. So, I went ahead and bought it:
2007 G35X, Platinum Graphite/Graphite/Wood trim. Premium/Navigation/Tech packages with splash guards and cargo net. MSRP $39,940 + 700 destination =$40,640. They gave me $1,000 off, so ended up being 39,640. I felt like I got a good deal.
This car is SICK! The ride is SICK! The nav is SICK! It just looks plain SICK! I completely love it. It's going to take weeks to figure out all the gadgets.
If anyone is sitting on the fence, go ahead and jump in. Buy this car! You won't be sorry.
I'll try to post some pics later. The wood looks amazing with the graphite.

I got the exact same thing! This car is a technological marvel. I still snicker every time the auto trans auto downshifts when I brake for a turn! Today I took a little time to learn the voice commands and train it for my voice. Not that I think it needs it...

Exact same configuration as mine!

Should be picking up the baby Friday : )

I just had them swap out the OE tires for a set of Turanza LS-V's instead of the Goodyears, and other than that, identical car, w00t.

Did they charge you anything for the tire swap?

$400 installed for set of four replacing the OE RS/A's on 17-inch wheels.

If you want a different set of tires, at the very least ask the sales manager for a credit based on the fact that they'll be able to re-use those tires at some point I'm sure, and more importantly that you certainly won't be!

Congrats on the purchase Douglass. $1k off MSRP is pretty darn good, especially since they only had one on their lot.
