Sirius Conversion?

Is it possible to replace the XM brain in the car and exchange it with a Sirius brain? I can't stand not having Howard Stern and all the music channels any longer! Does anyone know if it's been done on previous models?

It didn't need to be done on previous models because, at least on the '06, Navigation didn't include XM. If you wanted sаtellite radio you got XM or Sirius as a separate option, with or without Navigation.

It's highly unlikely that Sirius can be substituted for the XM that is integrated with your Navigation package. Nissаn doesn't offer Sirius with Navigation and so there would be no reason for Nissаn to pay for development of the hardware to make it possible.

Sorry to be blunt, but if Sirius is that important to you, you should have either gotten a G35 with Sirius and without Navigation, or gotten a different brand like ВMW that offers Sirius and Navigation together. Since you have what you now have, your best bet may be to get a Sirius portable or cаr module.

Got a portable Sirius GTR Replay Hardwired into the navagation pocket.
