Just another guess

Your dealer may know the reason for the delay and just doesn't want to tell you, fearing you may cancel. Then again, maybe they're waiting for Santa Claus to come down from the North Pole and deliver your new G himself.

Christian and Canuck hang in there. It can't be too much longer and I'm sure the dealers are in your court trying to get their own inventory too.

Your G's are all gonna be rusted by the time they let them go.

I didn't know about the strike up there. Anyway, I hope you guys get your Gs in the next 3 weeks since we're overflowing down here with '07s.

This saga reminds me of when I bought my snowblower. I bought it in the summer, at a discounted price. I didn't get it until after a 9" snowfall, and other people got theirs sooner. My coworkers told me they seriously thought that unless I got mad, I'd continue to wait. I decided to get mad, and so I got the machine and a few more hundred off. Why this saga made me think of my snowblower is I paid for it in July, way before everyone else. Yet they all got their machines first. I realize that at the time I didn't want to simply demand my money back and go elsewhere, because I had waited since the summer. But I learned my lesson....

Mid Sept. The FatAss taking my order did not include the Active-Steer option, so there is a delay in the Mfg of this option unti Jan/Feb. The car that he did order is actually on the lot, but I'm not taking it.

That bites Rich! Now that you've gotten some driving under your belt in the 07, are you a little more excited for yours to arrive?

No doubt, so long as they get the order right this time. I'm asking them to take my car back now for it's just getting in the way sitting in the driverway all-the-time.
