I'm sure some of you have seen this, but if not:


I find it interesting how they are backing away from the "G35" moniker like they did w/the M and their FX - no doubt to have more freedom to offer other engines w/in the G line w/out appearing to be a different product offering.

I still think this commercial of the previous G35 was one of the best car commercials ever made:

I saw it 3 times about 2 weeks ago within a day or so but not since. I agree RL on the "35" moniker being dropped. That does allow more marketing flexibility for future displacement bumps.

 

Did anyone notice that guy "upshifted" the car but the exhaust sounded like downshift?

 

That "old" commercial is a good one, I liked that when I saw it a while back, the car shape still in the water is cool!

Yep, all of the newer Infiniti commercial have been pretty neat. Or at least out of the ordinary. I had yet to see the one for the new G...so thank you RLampke for that link.

Yap, they screwed up. The rpm shouldn't have jumped up with an upshift.

 

I have read of rumors that Infiniti may be introducing new engine...thus just "G" is the selling name being used.


I think the older commericals were almost cinematic in there nature.....
I suspect as the year moves on the new commercials will go back to
this pattern....

Love the older comercials though...they are classic now...
