New wheels with snow

Went out today shopping for wheels to mount my 17" snow tires on. I spoke with TireRack but they don't have our cars in the system yet.

Went down to Town Fair Tire and they too had nothing on record yet. I have the sport with 18" wheels and bigger brakes but wanted 17" wheels to fit the snows tires I already had from my '03 G.

So they took my '07 into the garage and tried a couple of wheels they thought would fit and sure enough we were able to find ones that fit and not too bad looking from ARE. See picture.
Now I'm all set.

Also picked up a set of winter mats from the local dealer who had them in stock.

I am going to the dealer tomorrow to get snow tires and new rims installed. They are Blizzak WS-50 225.55.17 with Spyn D5 17 inch Rims all around. They are charging me $1550 CDN or $1350 US. The regular price is $1700 CDN or $1480 US. This inclused installation and balancing. I am putting them on a G35 sport...

Good stuff Arun. That will make a huge difference from the 18" summers that you have on now. I did a Google search to check out the wheels you purchased but never found anything. Post some pics when you get them installed.

Yeah nice set up. Have a good trip. Maybe you can come back with a few mods for the new car.
