Follow-up on voice recognition question
I still cannot successfully use the voice dialing feature because either a digit gets lost (typically the last one) or what I speak is interpreted as a lengthy string of unrelated numbers.
- When I use TUNE to tell the radio to go to any AM or FM station, it works fine.
- When I speak a street number to the Nav system, it works fine.
- When I tell the CD player to go to a specific track, it works fine.
- When I try to use PHONE DIAL, it never ever works.
I have done the voice training using the command names.
Any thoughts? I have tried many, many times, speaking quickly/slowly, loudly/softly, etc. I am a native English speaker and nobody has ever mentioned that I speak like Ozzy.

I had the same problem, but I realized that I don't have the problem if I dictate the numbers in blocks of 3 or 4. So I'll say the area code, then wait for the system to register it, then the 3 numbers of the exchange (NXX), wait for it to register, then the final 4 numbers. It takes longer, but it doesnt error so in the end it's quicker...
