160 miles since it was swapped between a few dealers before I got it.

Interesting, seems like the mean is somewhere in the high teens. This same subject has been kicked around on e90 post as well--my car had 4 miles, some had 6, and a few were even 3. Wonder why the Infinitis are driven so much pre-delivery? Testing, or just a lot of moving in the distribution process?

Sigh, I hate to admit this, but that was the case on my Maxima. I have a 4-3 shudder when downshifting (got around 135k now, but it was there from day one), and I suspect they abused the car when they drove it from one dealership to another. I was dumb back then, just a kid, and so when they told me that was normal, I accepted it. Now, on my 2nd new car, I'm willing to be nit-picky about any defects, and not accept anything I perceive to be a defect, and there haven't been any to date.

16 miles. My dealer told me the car had 8-9 miles put on in Japan for quality control or transport to the shipping docks, then another 8 from the dealers storage facility to their downtown location where I bought it.

Yeah, I was def suspicious about it, so I make sure that I note anything that seems a little odd. The dealer told me that they hire older, retired people with clean driving records to drive the car, so in theory it shouldn't be abused, but I wouldn't stake my car on it. I also made sure they extended the warranty so that it starts at 162 and not 0, which I think is automatic anyway. Anything I notice, I send to my salesguy. I havent noticed any transmission problems as of yet (knock on wood).

Thanks to all those who replied.

Based on your readings, I gathered the following info.
Average - 24.3Km or 15mi.
Lowest - 9.65Km or 6mi.
Highest - 38.62Km or 24mi.

Note that DaCurryman's reading was not included because it was a special case.

I got paperwork in the glove compartment that said that someone at infiniti had signed off my cars testing with 9 miles on it. I got it with 10. Anyone else get this paperwork?????

My car would have had 11 miles, but they had to do a dealer swap, so by the time it was delivered, it was up to 88! Oh well! At least I got the car I wanted

Oh and my paperwork showed 5 miles. I believe it was the tech that test drove the car in Japan before it was shipped.

What they told you may be true...I saw 2 G35 coupes driving up the NJ Tpk and they had VA dealer tags, and the drivers were not going overly fast, about 100-110...just kidding! DOH!! I never thought of having the 36k extended by my delivery miles on the Maxima. There was one claim after 36k, but the dealer put it under warranty saying that I reported the issue prior to 36k.
